Resthaven Craigmore

Established 2004

Resthaven’s first greenfield site in more than 20 years, Resthaven Craigmore was built from the ground up to meet the needs of older people and their carers in Adelaide’s northern metropolitan area. It took several years to find the right site, but the location of Adams Road, Craigmore, has proved to be ideal.

2001
Providing support in an area of need

Although it took several years to find exactly the right site, by the early months of 2001, Resthaven had homed in on a parcel of newly released land at Craigmore. Through to the end of the year, the design and planning for a facility continued, encompassing 40 high-care and 38 low-care beds, and a 14-bed secure dementia wing.

A new home on the horizon

By September 2003, the construction of a new residential site at Adams Road, Craigmore was underway.
