In November 1944, it was confirmed that a home on the south-west corner of Glynburn and Kensington roads, Leabrook, had been purchased for £5,750. Those in residence at Shirley Gardens moved to the new property as soon as possible.
It was predicted that this new residence would achieve an even greater result for Resthaven.
