Resthaven’s head office relocated to Resthaven Malvern from Pirie Street’s Epworth Building on 9 September 1985. In light of the new head office location at Malvern, a new postal address was instated: PO Box 327, Unley SA 5061. This postal address remains today.

It was recognised that staff would eventually outgrow the allocated building onsite, and plans were on the table to redevelop the site so that it could better incorporate head office. Unfortunately, these plans were stalled due to a lack of Government funding, and the redevelopment would not commence until mid-1991.
