Day Therapy at Malvern commences

Total care was the aim, with the Resthaven Malvern Day Therapy Centre offering physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, speech pathology and continence management.

Program activities included cooking classes, entertainment, newspaper reading and religious discussion hosted by chaplain Bill Dow. Young people were encouraged to participate in activities and Resthaven fostered close contact with reception classes at Unley Primary School.

“Malvern and the surrounding suburbs are certainly aware of our presence in the community. In the first year, there have been many changes in the physical structure and administration of the centre. The centre is supported by staff and volunteers.”
