In April 1989, the maintenance workshop at the Malvern location transferred to a warehouse complex at St Marys. Housing the maintenance supervisor’s office, lunchroom, workshop areas and a large store area for unused furniture from the homes, the move enabled the team to establish their work areas in more congenial surroundings.
