By 2000, Resthaven’s network of cooperation had spread to such a degree that it was in partnership with Anglicare SA, Helping Hand Aged Care and the Royal District Nursing Service, in a project known as the Northern Healthy Ageing Project. This venture provided ‘information, education, early intervention and rehabilitation services’ for older people in the northern suburbs.
CEO Richard Hearn stressed that, as well as concentrating on residential facilities, Resthaven was committed to assisting people to remain in their own homes by providing aged care, respite, and therapy services.
