At Resthaven Northern Therapy Services, the new purpose-built building adjacent to the Elizabeth Shopping Centre at Gillingham Road, Elizabeth, was officially opened in May 2003. Resthaven funded the $1 million building as a positive commitment to maximising independence for older people and in recognition of the high level of need in the Playford area. The centre has high-quality facilities for one-to-one treatment and group interventions and an outside rehabilitation area consisting of a variety of surfaces to assist clients to improve their mobility outside their home.
