By the last months of 2007, a redevelopment was underway at Resthaven Paradise. The existing high-care, therapy and community services buildings were demolished to make way for a two-level residential facility. Therapy and community services were relocated into refurbished offices on the same site. These were formally opened on 17 October 2008.
