Following an announcement by the Australian Government of additional funding directed to in-need areas, Resthaven commenced community services in the Riverland on 1 October. Operating as ‘Resthaven Riverland Community Services’, the office was located at 60 East Terrace, Loxton, and used as a base for staff to coordinate individually tailored aged care services for people who live at home.
Resthaven also had success in the Home and Community Care program areas with the Limestone Coast ‘Connect Me’ service, and expansion of respite for carers.
