A consolidated Head Office

On 23 September 2015, the new Head Office was officially opened by the President of the Board, Mark Porter, and was dedicated by the Moderator of the Synod of the Uniting Church in South Australia, Dr Deidre Palmer.

Andrew Davies, Manager, Building and Property Services, noted, ‘the completion and occupation of the new Head Office at Wayville has been our most significant recent building milestone … Staff are enjoying the fresh, modern working conditions, and the opportunity to meet informally with other staff’.

An intergenerational sculpture by South Australian sculptor, Gerry McMahon, was officially unveiled outside Resthaven Head Office, Wayville, in October. The public artwork was commissioned by Resthaven to acknowledge the history of the site (formerly Methodist Ladies College/Annesley College), and to celebrate positive engagement between the generations. This was one of many artworks commissioned from Gerry by Resthaven, with the first being a sculpture at Resthaven Mount Gambier years earlier.
