With the lease for the Kilkenny office up in 2014, Resthaven took the opportunity to move slightly further west, and purchased a new office at 96 Woodville Road, Woodville. Staff moved into the new premises in August 2014.
This move was significant, as this was the region which, in the 1960s, was home to Australia’s first major program of domiciliary care, pioneered by Dr ‘Bunt’ Burnell and his wife, Sue.
On 19 June 2015, the new location for Resthaven Western Community Services was officially opened.
