On 8 March 2017, Board President Mark Porter turned the first sod in a ‘Turn the Turf’ ceremony for the planned $30 million home at Aberfoyle Park. Resthaven had embarked on the planning and construction of this new residential aged care home years earlier, with active investigations into the government’s figures on predicted population trends.
