Resthaven’s twelfth residential service at Aberfoyle Park was completed in June 2018, to the excitement of the local community.
Operations commenced on 16 July 2018, with residents moving into the home in stages, to ensure the staff and resident community had time to settle into their new surroundings.
An open day was held just prior to the first residents moving in, with hundreds of members of the public coming through the home to have a look.
The official site opening was held on 12 October 2018. A dedication by Rev. Sue Ellis, Moderator of the Uniting Church in South Australia, culminated in the unveiling of a plaque to mark the occasion and a special prayer for Resthaven Aberfoyle Park.
