Throughout 1958 and into 1959, the Resthaven Board cautiously moved forward with plans for extending Resthaven’s services.
Rev. Gordon S. Wellington, the Administrator (CEO), reflected on this period of expansion:
‘Whilst the Board has done its utmost in this respect, it is a matter of deep regret that many who have looked to us to help them in their need have still remained disappointed.’
